Lisa's Journey - Restoring Balance ***

Lisa’s relationship with movement began very early in life. Just before her third birthday, she lost the big toe on her right foot—an experience that quietly shaped a lifelong curiosity about balance, adaptation, and how the body finds its way back to stability.

As a child, she was drawn to movement and began studying ballet. When she first entered class, her teacher agreed to take her but shared with both Lisa and her mother that she would likely never dance en pointe. Over time, through dedication and continued practice, Lisa did go on to dance en pointe—an experience that deepened her respect for the body’s resilience and the subtle ways it learns to reorganize itself when challenged.

That early fascination with movement continued to unfold throughout her life.

In her mid-to-late twenties, Lisa began working as a fitness coach, helping others explore strength, mobility, and body awareness. This work deepened her own curiosity about how the body moves, compensates, and restores balance.

In 2013, she began a dedicated Pilates practice, further expanding her understanding of alignment, stability, and the body’s interconnected systems.

Her commitment to movement education led her into formal instructor training in 2019, where she continued exploring the body through the lens of movement, awareness, and connective tissue.

In 2025, Lisa discovered the work of The Human Garage and began practicing Fascial Maneuvers. The work immediately resonated, bringing together many of the questions she had been exploring for decades about tension patterns, mobility, and the body’s remarkable ability to reorganize itself.

Through her own experience with fascial maneuvers, Lisa discovered how powerful these practices can be in helping people release tension, restore mobility, and reconnect with the natural intelligence of their bodies.

As her practice deepened, she began hosting a weekly Zoom call as a space to practice, learn, and move together. What started as a small gathering quickly expanded, drawing in coaches from across the United States and around the world. Through these ongoing connections, a global community began to form—grounded in shared curiosity and a desire to better understand the body.

In time, a pattern became visible. What began as individual exploration revealed itself as something more connected, more relational. From this unfolding, Lisa came to recognize and name what was already emerging.

She is the creator of The Fascia Constellation—a concept shaped through practice, connection, and a growing international community. Rather than something she founded, it reflects a pattern she observed and continues to develop: a way of understanding how individuals connect more deeply to themselves and to one another through movement, breath, and fascial awareness.

Today, Lisa is a Human Garage Certified Fascial Maneuver Coach and serves as a guide within The Fascia Constellation, offering weekly classes, private sessions, and collaborative experiences that support individuals in exploring the body’s living connective network.

She has hosted and co-facilitated workshops, studied directly with the Human Garage core team during a hands-on immersive training in October 2025, and continues to collaborate with fascial maneuver coaches around the world.

In May 2026, Lisa will co-facilitate an immersive movement experience in Slovenia alongside an international group of coaches. You can learn more about that event here:
